Just look at these little guys – they are adorable, colourful, collectable and perfect to potter around the house wherever you please.

LEGO Botanicals has impressed with its strong shift in design standards and approach towards realism, and the success of that work is borne out across any number of sets currently available in the theme that are engrossing to build, eye-catching once complete, and all-around just beautiful to behold. They are some of the best LEGO experiences we can recommend at the moment.
Yet, even as 10349 Happy Plants represents a move towards something different, something a little younger and far more accessible for LEGO builders, we find ourselves in love with a whole different creative direction from LEGO Botanicals.
We haven’t been able to get enough of the theme’s work around real-world, ‘grown-up’ source material, but now add to that what we hope is the start of a collection of little pot characters carrying tiny plants around.
10349 Happy Plants is brilliant in a whole different way to what otherwise pulls us into LEGO Botanicals. It embraces a more junior, more playful twist, creating these two adorable characters each brightly coloured, given simple, cute expressions, and with a little plant in their heads.
They are super quick to put together, to the extent that you’ll want to immediately pull them apart and build them again, and they are so cute across their entire design – from those printed smiles through to the little arms and legs they are given.
10349 Happy Plants represents a different creative direction for LEGO Botanicals and yet, something that so perfectly encapsulates what makes the theme so successful at the moment. Here we have a simple idea executed quite brilliantly, making for an end result you can’t stop looking at. There’s a more playful nature to Happy Plants that really makes these little guys so brilliant, and we can only hope there are more to come. We’ll be first in line to buy them all.
Our honest opinion: 10349 Happy Plants is the cutest, most adorable LEGO set we’ve ever built and an excellent idea from the LEGO Botanicals team. More please.
