Day by day, please enjoy our Unofficial LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar… December 19 – Star Destroyer This Star Destroyer was actually designed with the intention of featuring on Blocks’ Issue 27 cover. The initial plan was that Issue 25 would also take a Rogue One cover theme and review the first wave of sets closer to their late September release date. However, that proved not possible, so Issue 25 was re-focused to the impressive Disney Castle, and the initial Issue 25 Rogue One cover plan was moved to Issue 27. This usurped what would have been a second Rogue One cover design for 27, to have been based on one of the glorious shots from the film of the Death Star surrounded by Star Destroyers. A long story for a small Star Destroyer. Note the angle of each side of the Destroyer achieved through a central bar holding everything together.
