Day by day, please enjoy our Unofficial LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar… December 5 - Escape Pod on Tatooine I have created micro scenes before but usually on a 16x16 or 12x12 base. For these micro worlds I wanted to create iconic locations and scenes as small as I could. For the classic escape pod scene on Tatooine I used 1x1 round plates to represent C-3PO and R2-D2 and for the escape pod itself I used an engine part from the larger 75136 Droid Escape Pod set that came out last year. An illegal connection is needed to attach the clip on the front of the escape pod to the black tap piece but it's a good fit and just needs a little tweak to get it on the angle.
