The Brick Search app’s best-ever LEGO minifigure scanner is now live as part of Brick Search Plus, in another landmark step in LEGO collecting.
Brick Search introduced the first-ever LEGO minifigure scanner in January 2024, picking up on the appearance of scannable codes on Series 25 boxes. It was hailed as a game-changer in collecting minifigures and, amid reports of the cardboard box packaging being damaged or ripped open in-store and left on shelves and Collectible Minifigure collectors struggling to find the minifigures they wanted, made CMF collecting easier than ever before.
Brick Search Plus has built on that innovation to provide the best-ever minifigure scanner, which has been redesigned to be the quickest and most convenient it has ever been. Results now appear instantly on the same screen and the minifigure can be added directly to the user’s collection. The scanner also works without an internet connection, and multiple boxes can be scanned at once.
Brick Search Plus members will not only get unlimited use of the app’s minifigure scanner, but be able to directly influence where the app goes next through the new Discord server – which is where future redesigns or new features will be first shared for feedback.
There is also a £30 voucher to use with The Minifigure Store available to members in the UK or Europe who join on a 12-month plan, with a similar offer from a LEGO retailer in the works for members in the United States and Canada, as well as full access to the app’s LEGO set back catalogue of over 10,000 sets and a Brick Search Plus newsletter that will share inside information from the app.
Brick Search Plus is available for iOS and Android users, with an annual subscription priced at £19.99 / $29.99 a year, representing a 16% saving on a monthly subscription of £1.99 / $2.99 a month.
The app’s minifigure scanner can be used 12 times before needing to upgrade to become a member, allowing LEGO fans to test it for themselves.
