That's the question we’ve been mulling over since receiving the press release for the latest LEGO Batman set, which tackles the iconic setting of Batman: The Animated Series across 4,210 pieces. It’s something of a LEGO Art set – you can hang it on a wall – and presents something very different for a theme historically dominated by Batmobiles and Batwings.
Both of those things are here in tiny microscale form, but they’re only a very minute part of the overall picture. The question is: will this be enough to save a LEGO DC theme that seems to be stuck in a Batman vs. Joker-shaped rut? You’ll have to pull up a pew at the altar of the Brick Fanatics YouTube channel to find out our thoughts on that topic.
