10366 Tropical Aquarium is available now for LEGO Insiders, and Brick Search Plus members can earn 1,200 Brick Credits if they grab the set through the app.
Brick Credits are Brick Search’s way of giving back to the app’s members, a loyalty program that earns digital LEGO.com gift cards when buying LEGO via Brick Search. Every £1 spent at LEGO.com in this way returns three Brick Credits, which can be redeemed in the app for digital gift cards to use on the LEGO website.
A £20 digital gift card can be claimed with 2,000 Brick Credits, so 10366 Tropical Aquarium – which comes in at just under £400 and is worth 1,200 Brick Credits – nets you more than half the total needed for a gift card.
New Brick Search Plus members also start with 100 Brick Credits in their account, to help them on the way to a first digital LEGO.com gift card. The 2,000 credits threshold is one of two redemption opportunities – the other, 5,000 Brick Credits, delivers a £50 digital LEGO.com gift card.
Not only would buying 10366 Tropical Aquarium this way deliver 1,200 Brick Credits, but LEGO Insiders would still claim Insiders points and be eligible for the gift-with-purchase that accompanies the set, 5009823 Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food, if you buy before November 19.
To get 10366 Tropical Aquarium, Insiders points, the GWP and 1,200 Brick Credits, simply add the set to your LEGO.com bag in Brick Search by tapping the bag icon, then go to LEGO.com via a link in the app.
Brick Credits is effectively a 3% cashback on your LEGO.com purchases – which, combined with the 5% as a LEGO Insider means an 8% return. That number shoots up to 13% during double Insiders points events, too.
Brick Search Plus members can also get a £30 voucher to use at the Minifigure Store (UK/EU only; terms and conditions apply), access to the full LEGO set archive and a host of other members only perks.
