The LEGO Group's latest double LEGO Insiders points event offers the first chance to save on recent exclusive sets, under one small condition.

Double LEGO Insiders points on all orders (and a gift-with-purchase) started earlier today on the official online store and in physical LEGO stores, with hundreds of builds to pick from and many that will qualify for the free 40785 Northern Lights Diorama when you spend over £135 / $150 / €150.

While you're welcome to catch up on retiring LEGO sets, another option is to focus on what is new and exclusive to the official online store (and in some cases, one third-party retailer). These builds have not yet been discounted, and anyone eager to pick them up can do so right now with essentially a 10% discount during the double points event. This comes with one condition to meet, though.

As long as you intend to make another purchase in the future on the official online store, you can guarantee a 10% saving on the following sets. Just make sure you redeem those points for a discount at checkout, after you've amassed the points. Here's a look at some of the best recent LEGO releases that are exclusive and have yet to be discounted elsewhere.

Fans with plenty of budget to spare might also want to consider 75419 Death Star for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 worth of LEGO Insiders points during this event. That's a decent discount on the massive and expensive build (again, under the condition that you are going to buy something in the future).
