First look at LEGO Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass gift-with-purchase

LEGO Icons 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship will be accompanied by an exclusive gift-with-purchase when it debuts next month.

Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass will be included with purchases of the newly-revealed LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean set from September 12 to 18, or while stocks last. The brick-built compass can be seen on the LEGO.com product page for the 2,862-piece Black Pearl, though a specific product page for the gift-with-purchase has yet to go live at the time of writing.

Still, we can see from this one image that it’s a brick-built version of the compass carried by Captain Jack in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, which points to the owner’s greatest desire. Useless for finding your way to Tesco, but good if you can’t decide what you want for dinner once you get there.

According to a press release in the LEGO Newsroom, 5009609 Captain Jack Sparrow's Compass includes 151 pieces and a string lanyard (which you can just about see in the image above), and as you'd expect the directional dial can be spun round manually. So much for helping decide on dinner, then.

Anyway, it's yet another set-exclusive gift-with-purchase in a sea of them in 2025, and adding it to your collection requires ordering 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship when it launches on September 12.
