A whole new year of LEGO sets is just around the corner, including five models from my own wish list that I’ll be purchasing the day they’re released.
As 2025 begins to countdown its final weeks, thoughts inevitably turn to the next year ahead, one that will see multiple new LEGO sets launch from January 1. While I would usually wait a few months for any builds that I’m after to hopefully drop in price, that definitely won't be the case when it comes to 2026.
That’s due to the fact that there are a number of upcoming models that I really want to get on the day that they're released. It also means that I’ve already pre-ordered a handful of those LEGO sets that I consider must-haves, so with that in mind, check out the selection of LEGO builds below that I’ll be looking forward to assembling as soon as 2026 rolls around.
1 – 76330 Batman Logo
Price: £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99 Pieces: 678 Minifigures: 2 Release date: March 1, 2026

There are four LEGO DC sets based around the Dark Knight that are arriving on March 1, including the 678-piece 76330 Batman Logo. The model boasts a unique take on the character’s iconic symbol, with multiple pieces referencing the 60-year lore of the Caped Crusader.
In addition, 76330 Batman Logo also includes a Batman minifigure and an exclusive golden version of Bruce Wayne’s crimefighting alter ego, along with a code to unlock a digital version of the latter in the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game.
2 – 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman
Price: £19.99 / $24.99 / €24.99 Pieces: 201 Minifigures: 3 Release date: January 1, 2026

With what looks to be a potential new LEGO Marvel subtheme arriving next year,
The first-ever LEGO Marvel set based on the Sam Raimi film also comes with three minifigures in the shape of Spider-Man, Venom and a full Sandman, as well as plenty of options for posing the characters as they duke it out over a partially ravaged New York street scene.
3 – 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future
Price: £22.99 / $27.99 / €27.99 Pieces: 357 Minifigures: 2 Release date: January 1, 2026

For those that missed out on previous versions of the DeLorean from the classic Universal movie trilogy, 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future is an absolute must. This will be my first foray into the vehicular world of LEGO Speed Champions, but for the price of the 357-piece set and what’s contained within it, consider me a convert to the theme.
77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future comes with minifigures of not just Marty McFly but also Doc Brown, as well as the ability to change the look of the iconic DeLorean from its Back to the Future incarnation to its Back to the Future: Part II aesthetic. Great Scott, indeed!
4 – 80119 Galloping Horse Canvas
Price: £89.99 / $109.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,650 Minifigures: 2 Release date: January 1, 2026

Speaking of all-new themes that I’ll be delving into next year, I’ve already secured a copy of my first-ever LEGO Chinese Traditional Festivals set via pre-order. I’ve long admired the colourful look, diversity and sheer creativity of such annual releases, which is why I’ll be eagerly waiting to add 80119 Galloping Horses Canvas to my collection on January 1.
The 1,650-piece model boasts four-brick built horse that can gallop, thanks to a handle on the side of the set, plus there’s a decorative brush-painted canvas backdrop and two exclusive minifigures, with the model representing good fortune and ‘success upon arrival.’
5 – 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary
Price: £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,259 Minifigures: 6 Release date: January 1, 2026

Rounding out my list of LEGO 2026 purchases is 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary. Another first for me, the 1,259-piece LEGO NINJAGO model looks to be something truly special and seems to pack plenty inside its four walls, even for a new fan of the long-running theme such as myself.
71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith 15th Anniversary includes the location from the pilot episode of the LEGO NINJAGO TV show, which opens up to reveal all sorts of details and secrets within, along with minifigures of Maya, Ray, Nya, Blacksmith Kai and Master Wu, as well the first of seven collectible minifigures for 2026, the elemental Master of Earth.
