Next year’s LEGO Icons 11371 Shopping Street looks to be packed with plenty of intriguing details, including these five secrets to find.
A new LEGO set will be joining the Modular Buildings Collection in early 2026, in the uniquely-shaped form of 11371 Shopping Street. The 3,456-piece model appears to be brimming with detail and story potential, which should make the build an interesting fit with the rest of fans’ existing collections.
In fact we’ve already spotted a number of intriguing aspects of 11371 Shopping Street in the official images to date, many of which you might have missed at first glance. With that in mind, here are five sneaky secrets waiting to be found within the upcoming LEGO Icons set.
1 – The Wooden Duck

On the first floor of 11371 Shopping Street is a carpenter’s apartment, one that includes wood, tools and even a vice to hold things steady. Also in the room is a small brick-built version of The Wooden Duck, based on the toy originally crafted by Master Carpenter Ole Kirk Kristiansen and released as a LEGO House set in 2020.
2 – Golden trombone

11371 Shopping Street features a two-storey music shop, complete with a selection of instruments to be found inside. One of those is a golden trombone, an item that recently made its debut in another LEGO Icons set, 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, as an accessory for Commander William Riker.
3 – Brickleys music shop
Speaking of the music shop, the sign outside the sand green building notes that the store’s name is ‘Brickleys’. In addition to the obvious LEGO connotations, that’s also likely to be a reference to Brickley, a LEGO sea serpent of a similar hue that can be found at various Flagship Stores around the world and has been released as a number of sets over the years.
4 – Leaky pipe

It might be a little tricky to spot, but there’s a narrow alleyway between the two main sections of 11371 Shopping Street where a grey floor grate can be spotted. Lifting that up reveals water that is leaking from a pipe on the side of the furniture store, so it’s a good thing the LEGO Icons set comes with its very own plumber minifigure.
5 – Billund coat of arms

During a recent LEGO Fan Media Days event, Hoang Huy Dang, the designer behind 11371 Shopping Street noted that the model also includes a subtle nod to the home of the Danish company. Each of the twin girl marching-band minifigures comes with their own purple hat that features the Billund coat of arms printed on the front of the headwear.
You’ll be able to dig into more of 11371 Shopping Street’s secrets when the set is released for Insiders members first on January 1, 2026. 40913 Vintage Parade Car will also be available as a GWP on all purchases over £180 / $200 / €200 between January 1 and 11 (while stocks last). The LEGO Icons set will then go on a wider release from January 4, with the model priced at £229.99 / $249.99 / €249.99.
