Fresh images dive deeper into upcoming LEGO Technic sets

As the release date for a number of new LEGO Technic sets draws closer, more images of some race-ready builds have appeared on the LEGO website.

LEGO Technic is a theme that's all about the details – and you can now see those all-important features even better, with a few new images uploaded to LEGO.com for two upcoming sets, 42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car and 42170 Kawasaki Ninja H2R. You can check out the former from every angle (even from above) and see the scale of the latter in the newly-revealed lifestyle images.

42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car

Arrows on the images for 42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car highlight the pull-back function on this LEGO Technic set which means that it can move somewhat independently from its builder. It appears to have a knob on the top that can be used to trigger it, as well as of course turning wheels that can guide it along a surface.

42170 Kawasaki Ninja H2R

Green Technic elements stand out from the black and grey to add some vibrant green accents in 42170 Kawasaki Ninja H2R, along with a sturdy black stand and some chunky wheels. The sleek design of the bike is reminiscent of the ever-popular 42130 BMW M 1000 RR, but with a more compact size – but that doesn't mean it skimps on detail.
