The next
LEGO Star Wars D2C exclusive set is expected to be the Death Star, set number 75159, with a release date of October 1, 2016. This has long been rumoured, with different snippets of information turning up over the past nine months, although reliability has been patchy.
Now,
Promo Bricks have summarised information that the website considers reliable — although all should be considered rumour until confirmed by the
LEGO Group. Particulary notable is the price:
3) 4,016 parts for 499,99 Euro
The new Death Star may be assembled from 4,016 parts. By comparison, the final Death Star (10188) consisted of 3,803 parts and included 24 minifigures. Has also changed the sales price. So the new model in the LEGO Store will cost 499.99 euros, 80 euros more than its predecessor.
