We’re probably not getting LEGO A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms sets any time soon, but the crew have been lucky enough to receive custom minifigures from Egg actor Dexter Sol Ansell.
The Game of Thrones spin-off’s first season wrapped up last night, and Dexter Sol Ansell – who plays Aegon ‘Egg’ Targaryen in the show – celebrated by revealing a suite of LEGO-themed gifts he’s handed out to crew members. The 11-year-old actor commissioned the frames with custom minifigures of characters Dunk and Egg, writers George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker, and episode directors Owen Harris and Sarah Adina Smith.
These are obviously not official LEGO minifigures, but they’re still a cute representation of their fictional and real-life counterparts, from Dunk’s taller legs to reflect the gulf in height to Egg to George R.R. Martin’s fabric beard and quill.
If you want to put together your own A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms LEGO minifigures, YouTuber Goldfyre has cooked up a couple of purist customs using only existing pieces, and they look pretty spot-on to the show (and its corresponding graphic novel). Check those out in the clip below.
