LEGO Botanicals 10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses is almost a straight recolour of the OG brick-built roses – but can it still bring something new to the table?
LEGO Botanicals knows what it's doing as theme – and it's doing it well. So well, in fact, that it was confident enough to release what's very nearly a straight recolour of 10328 Bouquet of Roses, creatively named 10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses. Can you guess what colour the flowers are this time?

Recolours are rare but not unheard of from the LEGO Group, but in the case of 10328 Bouquet of Roses, it felt like the LEGO Group nailed the most iconic rose colour the first time around. When 10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses was announced, it felt hard to appreciate what else this new colour was going to add.
Viewing them fully built in person, however, and the change in colour does feel like a worthwhile addition to the LEGO Botanicals theme. The lighter shade is more summery and soft, making it well-suited for Valentine's Day or romantic gifting. That's clearly the intention of this set, given the inclusion of the red heart element, which has no relevance to the build itself.
Speaking of the build, 10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses suffers from what some other Botanicals, especially the bouquets, do. Building the same flower over and over again does get old. While you can split the load thanks to the three instruction booklets included, those set it up so that one person builds each type of rose. Ultimately, this does get boring if you're someone who doesn't like repetition.

The end result, however, is impressive. Once again, the LEGO Botanicals designers have knocked it out of the park with creative building techniques. The use of a curled whip for the very centre of the fully-bloomed rose is an especially neat touch. The variation between the three stages of the rose makes the bouquet feel especially realistic, as well as keeping some diversity, so it doesn't feel dull next to LEGO bouquets of different types of flowers.
With leaves and thorns on the stems, the LEGO Group has once again created authentic-looking flowers that will never die. You can see why it's returned to a set for another go around, just in another colour – although the difference of 33 pieces points to subtle changes in the mid-sized rose head, which now matches the one in 10342 Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet.
Otherwise, the two sets are near enough identical apart from the colour, both including roses in three different stages of bloom and four sprigs of baby's breath with white flowers – and when you've achieved perfection already, why not go back for more?
Our honest opinion: 10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses is proof that LEGO Botanicals is at the top of its game, doing so well that it can essentially release the same set twice and we'll still eat it up.
