A romantic upcoming LEGO gift-with-purchase has been officially revealed, with 40886 Penguins in Love likely to be a popular Valentine’s Day set this year.
With the long, cold slog through January nearly over, it’s almost time to start thinking about the most romantic month of the year. To celebrate Valentine’s Day 2026, the LEGO Group has revealed an upcoming GWP in the brick-built shape of 40886 Penguins in Love, a 278-piece model that measures over 14cm high.
40886 Penguins in Love features two buildable aquatic birds to assemble, both of which boast a pair of moveable wings and eyes with printed hearts on them. The completed penguins can then be placed on a heart-shaped display stand, which is meant to represent how the species bonds for life.
The base of 40886 Penguins in Love features a green leaf that connects to a transparent element, which in turn holds up three small hearts, with the GWP also coming with a selection of 1x1 grey studs to represent pebbles, plus a blue fish element.
There’s currently no release date set for 40886 Penguins in Love so far, although we’d suspect the model might arrive sometime around February 14 to coincide with this year’s Calentine’s Day, but that’s just speculation on our part for now.
