LEGO Disney 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse has amazing mini-dolls and a beautiful build, but its price makes the experience much less magical.
With an amazing line-up of mini-dolls and a gorgeous crystal-inspired build, 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse has everything going for it – almost. This set manages to provide an experience that is suitably Disney while being too generic for its own good, and that's not even mentioning the price.
43215 The Enchanted Treehouse is a near-perfect celebration of Disney for the 100th anniversary, including its iconic princesses and inspirational female characters, but for one or two hiccups too many.

LEGO Disney 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse is launching on June 1, 2023, for £149.99 / $159.99 / €169.99 and despite its size, it looks to be launching widely on LEGO.com and other retailers on the same day.

The build in 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse is split into two parts. These include the main treehouse and a waterfall with a zipline connecting them both, The colour palette used in this set is beautiful with a healthy mix of crystals and pastel colours making this an especially eye-catching model compared to other LEGO Disney entries.
You'll find crystals in just about every part of the model, but other than a scarce connection with Elsa, we're not sure how this crystalline abode relates to any of the included characters. To that extent, 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse could easily be an entry in another mini-doll theme, with the long-retired Elves being the next best contender – but it struggles to carve out its own identity as a result.
The presence of a juice bar and research station further confuses the theme and it would have been nice to see more intrinsic connections to the included characters, similar to that of
The play features in the treehouse portion of the set are limited and for the price, it would have been nice to see more innovation or any kind of interactivity integrated into more aspects of the model.
The waterfall area suffers from some of these issues too, but it's a lot more playable than its larger companion build. The presence of a slide, rotating platform and waterfall offer interesting options for exploration and play as well as plenty of options for posing the included characters, despite how little their stories are integrated into the build.
--- LEGO Disney 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse characters ---
Let's not joke around, the highlight of 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse and the brunt of its £149.99 / $159.99 / €169.99 price comes from its 13 mini-dolls, with many exclusive variants or entirely new characters.

The full selection includes Mulan, Raya, Elsa, Moana, Tinker Bell, Alice, Wendy, Belle, Tiana, Anna, Pocahontas, Princess Jasmine and Mirabel. Out of these, Pocahontas, Wendy, Tinker Bell, Alice and Mirabel are especially rare or otherwise notable.
The minifigure selection is incredibly diverse, interesting and full of characters from across Disney's 100 years of inspirational stories. There's something for everyone to recognise here with more than enough printing and details to satisfy even the most diehard of Disney enthusiasts.
The accessories are more mixed in their quality, though they all make sense and match their corresponding characters. Based on the number of pieces they use, we don't believe that they've added much to the high price either.
There's no doubt about it, 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse has one of the best mini-doll line-ups in all of LEGO Disney and potentially in LEGO history – but that comes at a price...
--- LEGO Disney 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse price ---
...because the cost of LEGO Disney 43215 The Enchanted Treehouse is far too high relative to what comes in the box, even when accounting for the rare, exclusive or otherwise desirable mini-dolls. The build is not substantial enough to represent £149.99 / $159.99 / €169.99 of value and it's clear that much of this has been placed on the mini-doll selection. We'd estimate the build alone to be worth around £100 to £110.
While impressive, the mini-dolls don't manage to fill the massive gap in the value left by the build and you can feel the missing £50 / $60 / €70 when putting it together, left only to wonder what exactly your money is going towards. The price is the most unfortunate aspect of this set, with numerous other positives that build up the experience, only to be let down by a fundamental part of any LEGO purchase.
