The Mandalorian and Grogu are back yet again thanks to LEGO Star Wars 75410 Mando and Grogu’s N-1 Starfighter, a set for younger builders and nobody else.
If it wasn’t for 2023’s 75363 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter Microfighter (and soon it won’t be as that leaves shelves at the close of 2024), 75410 Mando and Grogu’s N-1 Starfighter could have represented some solid value for LEGO Star Wars fans looking to pick up the best version of the Mandalorian and Grogu in one set.
As it is, 75140 swoops in almost exclusively for younger LEGO Star Wars builders to offer up a simpler interpretation of the N-1 Starfighter.

First introduction
Simple isn’t always basic except in the case of most 4+ sets, which are designed as stepping stones from DUPLO to LEGO System building for young fans beginning to get into LEGO and, in this case, LEGO Star Wars. Those stepping stones in 75410 Mando and Grogu’s N-1 Starfighter consist of a stripped back N-1 Starfighter (those Jawas really got to it this time), a little pram for Grogu, a small fuel station of some sort, an R5-D4 droid, and the titular characters themselves.
It’s a lot to get in the one box for 4+ builders, more so than we sometimes see in equivalent sets. As ever, value is felt elsewhere in such sets – as opposed to where regular LEGO Star Wars sets could deliver on parts count, number of minifigures, exclusivity, build technique and so on, these 4+ sets rely on larger plastic parts (which we have been told in the past cost more to produce) and printed parts (to take the trouble of stickers away from young hands).
Comes with added Mando
The main build to 75410 Mando and Grogu’s N-1 Starfighter is nicely done with far fewer pieces, even if it’s of course a lot simpler and smaller and leaves Mando and Grogu way out of scale when sat inside. For younger eyes, though, it’s what it needs to be – a very playable and instantly buildable version of what we have seen on screens.
For everyone old enough to read this review, though, it’s not really going to tick any boxes for you, even on the minifigure front because if you were really after Mando, Grogu or both characters, you will have picked them up one way or another by now, and this is not the best value opportunity to do so. The only real selling point then is the return of R5-D4, and who's spending £25 just for an astromech droid?
Our honest opinion: One for younger builders only, unless you really don't have Mando and Grogu yet (or really, really want R5-D4).
