LEGO Marvel's automotive models embrace the future with a sharp new car on top of a must-have and moustached Red Hulk minifigure.

Superhero-centric cars are a familiar concept for LEGO Marvel and at face value, 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk is nothing new. Look beyond the surface though and you'll find an efficient and affordable model with a well-designed mix of builds and a compelling Red Hulk minifigure. All of this makes 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk a surprisingly solid alternative to the Captain America: Brave New World models for the price.

Stark Industries: motor division

We've had plenty of superhero vehicles in LEGO Marvel, but cars based on Iron Man are pretty rare considering Tony Stark's affinity for supercars and hot rods. 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk is a major improvement on the car from 2016's 10721 Iron Man vs. Loki, finally giving the superhero a vehicle worthy of his metallic and iconic nature.

The sizable car's sharp angles are all captured using recent elements with a stylish large windscreen element dotted with glitter that helps it shine in the light. Unfortunately, the printed piece and the minifigure are the same as those included in 76307 Iron Man Mech vs. Ultron, though they are used to good effect here.

By comparison, Black Panther's small jet is far less exciting yet its inclusion does not affect the budget allocated to the impressive car, instead only contributing (in a minor way) to the contents of the set.

Hulk... stache?

As is usually the case for comic-centric LEGO Marvel sets, the minifigures are one of the main attractions in 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk with a familiar but decent Black Panther and comic-inspired Iron Man, both of which pale in comparison to the new and exclusive Red Hulk.

Red Hulk is certainly in the spotlight at the time of writing thanks to the upcoming release of the Captain America: Brave New World movie and the recent launch of its tie-in LEGO sets, among which you'll find a new Red Hulk bigfig. Those willing to make do with a Red Hulk minifigure instead will be well-served in this set.

The smaller Red Hulk iteration has great detailing on the torso with veins showcasing the increased anger and an alternate head no doubt paying tribute to the film, where this Red Hulk has not had to lose the moustache to win the election. Overall, it's a fantastic exclusive minifigure on top of an already great set.

Efficient and excellent

Iron Man's new car not only has sharp detailing on the outside but its interior is nothing to scoff at either. Though there's only room for one minifigure, there's actually space for two characters as DUM-E can fold down to fit neatly in the back of the car. It's an impressive use of space from the LEGO Marvel design team and adds a fourth character to the LEGO Marvel car creation, topping the three in 76309 Spider-Man vs. Venom Muscle Car.

Comic-based models focusing on vehicles never seen in other sources aren't ultimately destined to be as popular as Marvel Cinematic Universe sets. Despite this, 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk will hopefully have some well-deserved time in the spotlight in 2025 for being a thoughtful, efficient design with bonus builds and a fantastic moustachioed minifigure.

Our honest opinion: With its sharp, high-tech car and a brilliant Red Hulk minifigure, 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk is the better of the two LEGO Marvel cars in January 2025 and well worth your time.
