LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight isn’t out until next year, but that hasn't stopped the video game from receiving its first awards nomination.
Bruce Wayne’s blockier alter ego will be having a busy year in 2026, with four LEGO DC models due to launch on March 1 and a new TT Games titles arriving at some point in the shape of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
While an official release date has yet to be announced for the upcoming video game, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has already managed to secure an industry nomination courtesy of the 43rd Golden Joystick Awards.

The annual video game ceremony will take place on November 20, 2025, but fans can already place their votes in a select number of categories, such as Best Storytelling, Best Multiplayer Game, Best Indie Game, Best Visual Design and more right here.
When it comes to LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, the TT Games titles has been nominated in the Most Wanted Game category, which boasts 20 different entries, including such heavyweights as Grand Theft Auto VI, Marvel’s Wolverine and Resident Evil Requiem.
That’s a tough crowd to slug it out with, but there’s plenty of hype and anticipation surrounding LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, so it could still be in with a chance of walking away with some silverware on the night.
