A brand new LEGO game has just been announced, revealing the first trailer for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
One of the first reveals at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 was a brand new LEGO game from TT Games, announcing LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. This original LEGO DC story blends iconic parts of Batman media from the past 86 years into one experience in the open-world action-adventure game.
A new trailer has been revealed, showcasing the action to come in the new LEGO game from TT Games. The official website for the title has confirmed a few more details, too.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will have seven playable characters: Batman, Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. Each is equipped with skills, combos, and gadgets, including Batman’s Batclaw, Jim Gordon’s foam sprayer, Robin’s line launcher, and Catwoman’s whip.
While this is a smaller number of playable characters than other LEGO games, outfits have been confirmed, since anyone who signs up for a WB Games account will unlock the Golden Age Batsuit. The new title will also debut a new style of combat for LEGO games, reminding us of the Arkham game series in gameplay.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It will be released in 2026 with no specific date currently confirmed. A demo will be playable at Gamescom this week, too.
