LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 Mini-Build contest now live

Fan builders can start creating their own tiny masterpieces and submit them to the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 Mini-Build contest.

The winners of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 were officially revealed earlier this year, with five finalists’ creations being chosen as future physical sets. While the crowdfunding phase for the series won’t kick off until February 2026, a new mini-build contest based on those successful submissions is now live.

The LEGO BrickLink team is looking for micro masterpieces based on the much larger BDP Series 7 models, with the competition open until 12pm PST on December 10, 2025. Once the closing date has been reached, five successful contest winners will then be revealed for all to see on December 19.

As few as 10 parts are required per LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 submission and up to a maximum of 300 elements in total. The rules for the competition state that each model must have two dimensions (length x width x height) and should be eight studs/bricks or less, with slight overhangs of one stud or less permitted.

All LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 micro models will each get a BDP Series 7 Mini-Build badge to proudly display. The five lucky winners of the competition will also receive a full-size copy of the Series 7 set that their creation is based on, when they launch in July 2026.
