LEGO BrickLink Series 6 mini-build winners announced

The winners of a recent mini-build competition based around the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 sets have been revealed.

Pre-orders for all five BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 sets went live this week, with each of the fan-created models having already hit their minimum crowdfunding targets of 3,000 backers.

In addition, the winners of a mini-build contest based on the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 sets have also been announced. The good news is that the micro versions of the larger models have managed to successfully capture the look of the much bigger builds, despite their diminutive size.

That successful submission line-up of mini-builds includes TBrick’s The Art Factory, jazlecraz’s Gold Mine Expedition, JAGAMAX’s Off-road Adventure, SeaDragon393’s Outlaw Forest Den and JonasKramm’s Sequoia Tree Trail.

The rules for the contest stated that the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 mini-builds had to me constructed from 10 to 300 pieces, have two dimensions and be eight studs/bricks or less, with slight overhangs permitted.

All five of the mini-build winners will each receive a copy of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 set that their tiny creation is based on, as well as a BDP Series 6 Mini-Build badge. The latter prize will also be awarded to all participating designs that were submitted to the competition.
