LEGO DC's January 2025 set selection is now rumoured, said to include a non-Batman model for the first time since 2020.
Exciting times may be ahead for LEGO DC enthusiasts as Instagram user brick_clicker reports that of three sets launching in January 2025, one will not be a Batman-centric build. This would be a surprising shift for the theme which has featured a Batman character in every set for the past four years.
Remember that this is only a rumour though and it should be taken with caution. Pair these rumours with those for LEGO Marvel and there are 10 superhero sets rumoured for January 2025, not 11 as was previously reported, though that may have been including a polybag. The first non-Batman set since 2020's 76157 Wonder Woman vs. Cheetah is rumoured to be 76302 Superman Mech vs Lex Luthor for $14.99. The name suggests that this will be another character mech for LEGO DC with a mech for Superman. This would be the reverse of 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex which featured a mech for Lex but not for Superman. Hopefully, Luthor at least has some kryptonite on his person.
