A panel at San Diego Comic-Con has confirmed an exciting future for LEGO DREAMZzz, coming next year.
The panel, titled ‘LEGO: I Had a DREAMZzz Last Night About NINJAGO!’, featured a mix of people from across both LEGO DREAMZzz and LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising, including both behind-the-scenes crew and voice actors. As well as confirming when we'll get to see more of the latest NINJAGO show, the panel also confirmed a second season of LEGO DREAMZzz, coming sometime in 2024.
While no filming or photos are officially allowed during the panel, The Brick Fan was tweeting live throughout the event, offering some indication of what we can expect. For example, he wrote that there is the "possibility for more cameos from older characters", adding that the panel members stated that "anything is possible with the merge".
An exclusive trailer was played for those attending, but SDCC exclusive are generally not shown until a minimum of a day after the event itself. We can only hope that the latest trailer will be played sometime soon, to give everyone who didn't attend SDCC the chance of knowing what to expect from the second season of the animated series. For now, the only thing we know about is a vague promise of potentially meeting some "old friends"...
