Visitors to LEGO Stores in the US and Canada this month will be able to pick up a free F1 ACADEMY mini build to take home with them.
LEGO Stores in the US and Canda will be gearing up for yet another make and take event this month, this time focused on a tiny buildable version of a much larger Speed Champions set. Visitors will be able to assemble a small F1 ACADEMY model in person on April 12 from 12pm to 2pm, a free promotional item that's based on 77258 F1 ACADEMY LEGO Race Car.
The 201-piece LEGO Speed Champions set launched on March 1, 2026 and features an eye-catching vehicle, which includes an accompanying minifigure that appears to be based on up-and-coming driver, Esmee Kosterman.
Matching the overall colour scheme of 77258 F1 ACADEMY LEGO Race Car, the F1 ACADEMY mini build can be constructed there and then on the day or taken home and completed at your leisure and comes with a small race flag side build.
The F1 ACADEMY mini build will be available on a first come first served basis at participating LEGO Store locations, so you’re best off checking in advance before attending. In addition, only a limited quantity of the promotional build will be up for grabs on the day.
The F1 ACADEMY mini build follows hot on the heels of this weekend’s various LEGO Store seasonal events in the US and Canada, which include Easter egg hunts, sticker rewards, free bunny ear headbands and more.
