The LEGO Group and Formula 1 officially revealed details of their new partnership back in November 2024, with the majority of the first wave of licensed sets having launched on January 1, 2025.
However, listings for all but two LEGO Formula 1 releases were absent from LEGO.com, until today that is. Full details for

Rounding out the initial LEGO Formula 1 sets revealed for 2025 so far will be 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars. Each blind box will contain a tiny brick-built vehicle from the Formula 1 teams, RB20, Mercedes-AMG, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, Alpine, Williams, VCARB, Sauber and Haas, in addition to an F1 car and an F1 ACADEMY Car, for a total of 12 collectibles in all.
Despite their diminutive size at just 29-pieces, the 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars include each F1 team’s colours, with team logos and a large, printed helmet in the cockpit. The upcoming series is due for release on May 1, priced at £3.49 / $4.99 / €3.99 per blind box.

It's worth noting that the cost of purchasing each copy of 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars matches that of the recently released 71048 Series 27, but with a much better price-to-piece-count ratio.
We don’t know at this stage if 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars will include codes that can be scanned with the Brick Search app to aid you in your hunt for a complete set of the series, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we have more information.
