The first post-launch content has arrived for LEGO Hill Climb Adventures, adding a new Seasons feature and gadget to Fingersoft’s mobile game.
A new mobile game launched last week for iOS and Android devices, with the arrival of the free-to-play LEGO Hill Climb Adventures. The first collaboration between the LEGO Group and developer Fingersoft, the title is a side-scrolling, endless-runner experience set in a number of familiar brick-built worlds.
Players who pre-registered for LEGO Hill Climb Adventures got to try out the game on May 29 (with unique bonuses), before it became available for everyone else from May 30. As well as multiple courses, it’s possible to unlock all kinds of vehicles and upgrades as you progress, collecting gems, coins and other items to buy enhancements to assist in tackling each level.
In addition, Fingersoft has now released version 1.0.3 of the game, an update that adds even more content to LEGO Hill Climb Adventures. For starters, those players who manage to reach the lofty heights of Level 17 will unlock the Seasons feature, which contains new challenges to conquer that are guaranteed to test even the best drivers, plus more vehicles.
Gamers can also pick up the Jump Shocks gadget in LEGO Hill Climb Adventures, a fun item that gives vehicles the ability to land safely with minimal damage following a massive jump. When paired with the Landing Boost and Thrusters, players should now be able to clear huge chasms with plenty of ease.
It’s worth noting that extra rewards can be unlocked by completing daily tasks and players who log in to LEGO Hill Climb Adventures with a Fingersoft account (or by linking their LEGO account) can claim free gems, which come in handy for unlocking new vehicle abilities.
LEGO Hill Climb Adventures is available to download for free right now from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
