LEGO Horizon Adventures promotional mini-build revealed

LEGO Horizon Adventures promotional mini-build revealed

The first image of a promotional mini-build based on next month’s upcoming LEGO Horizon Adventures video game has been revealed.

Gamers only have to wait three more weeks to finally get their hands on the upcoming and highly-anticipated LEGO Horizon Adventures, which is due to launch on November 14, 2024. Created in collaboration between the LEGO Group, Sony and Guerrilla Games, the title will be released on PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Players who pre-order LEGO Horizon Adventures before that date can receive a bonus Aloy’s Shield-Weaver outfit, plus the Digital Deluxe Edition will get exclusive customisation options and additional costumes. What’s more, it now looks as if a physical promotional mini-build will also be available, based on one of the game’s metallic antagonists.

The official Product Certification page has initial details and an image of 5009167 LEGO Horizon Watcher. The small brick-built model represents a simplified version of Horizon Zero Dawn’s Recon Class machine, which can already be spotted in LEGO Horizon Adventures visuals, and may well be the exact same model included in the long-since retired 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck.

The small mechs often hunt together in packs and hints from a recent post on Guerrilla Games’ social media platforms suggests that players will be able to hack the bots in LEGO Horizon Adventures and use them to fight other enemies.

At this stage it’s unclear exactly how you’ll be able to get your hands on 5009167 LEGO Horizon Watcher, as no retailers are currently offering the set as a pre-order item. It’s possible the mini-build might be available as a GWP via LEGO.com, in LEGO stores or even as a promotional third-party giveaway, but we'll update you as soon as we have more information.

Unlike previous LEGO video game releases, there’s no exclusive minifigure or small set included with any version of LEGO Horizon Adventures, so the timing of the mini-build's reveal suggests it might be something that’s offered up closer to the game’s launch.

LEGO Horizon Adventures will be released on PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch on November 14, 2024.
