LEGO 40599 Houses of the World 4 will complete a near year-long collection

With the upcoming release of 40599 Houses of the World 4, a near year-long collection of mini-build sets will finally have reached completion.

Earlier today, we got our first look at the upcoming 40599 Houses of the World 4 thanks to the LEGO Group’s official Building Instructions page. While there are currently no details as to when the GWP will be available to LEGO Insiders or what the minimum spending threshold will be in order to obtain the set, fans of the four-part series at least now know what to expect when it finally does arrive.

Those who have been steadily collecting the mini-buildings always knew there would be a quartet of models in the Houses of the World series, going all the way back to 40583 Houses of the World 1 in January of this year. The Central American-themed set was followed by the North African-inspired 40590 Houses of the World 2 in April and most-recently we had 40594 Houses of the World 3 in August, which took its cues from Swiss architecture and is reviewed here.

40599 Houses of the World 4 captures the look of traditional Chinese buildings, complete with climbing blossoms, curved roof details, and red and gold décor. The set includes 318-pieces and sits on a black display base to match its three predecessors.

Now the full range of Houses of the World GWP models has been unveiled, it’s just a matter of time before fans of the series can look forward to lining up all fours builds side-by-side to complete the collection. The previous sets were available with spends of £220 / $250 / €250 and over, so we’d expect 40599 Houses of the World 4 to follow a similar pattern.
