The results of a recent LEGO Ideas Embrace the Power of Dreams challenge have been revealed, with multiple LEGO DREAMZzz sets won by fan designers.
LEGO Ideas recently revealed details of its latest challenge, with a LEGO DREAMZzz-inspired contest offering up plenty of sets from the theme as prizes. The Embrace the Power of Dreams competition has since drawn to a close and the lucky winners have now been revealed.
The gauntlet was thrown down to builders to create a LEGO DREAMZzz diorama, that could be based on scenes from the show or even something from fans’ imaginations. The results are suitably impressive, with Brick Banshee walking away as the Grand Prize Winner with Adventure to the Pancake King bagging 11 LEGO DREAMZzz sets in total.
The fan designer's entry includes a spin on a forest scene, with a floating island of wild berry pancakes above a syrupy swamp. Izzie, Mateo and Mr. Oz minifigures are included, as is the Pancake King who the heroes have come to get help from.
Also wowing the LEGO Ideas judges was piso_brick89’s The Sweet Worlds, packed with sugary brick-built treats, and Brickmies’ The Escape of the Nightmare King – The Grim Realm is Born, featuring an original creature creation, a Dream Keeper.
In addition, a surprise bonus winner was also revealed by the LEGO Ideas team in the shape of Dendarii1’s Shark Ship Attack! The diorama is a microscale scene depicting a tiny 71469 Nightmare Shark Ship hovering over pink clouds and menacing the Stable of Dream Creatures.
If you missed out on the Embrace the Power of Dreams challenge, then there’s still time to come up with a design for the Pets in Play contest. LEGO Ideas is looking for brick-built recreations of your own furry, feathery or scaly friends, with entries due in by July 9, 2024.
