LEGO Ideas 21352 Magic of Disney has two perfect companion CMF series

Two previously-released LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series should pair well with the upcoming LEGO Ideas 21352 Magic of Disney.

We got our first look today at 21352 Magic of Disney, thanks to an early reveal by a LEGO Certified Store in Greece, which has since been removed. The 1,103-piece set is based on an initial design by LEGO Ideas user 2A2A and was one of the submissions for last year’s Disney 100th anniversary contest.

21352 Magic of Disney includes a large brick-built version of Mickey Mouse in full Sorcerer’s Apprentice regalia, surrounded by a selection of characters from other Disney animated movies such as The Lion King, Pinocchio, Lilo and Stitch, Beauty and the Beast, Encanto, The Little Mermaid and Fantasia.

While the minifigures in 21352 Magic of Disney will be making their exclusive debut in the LEGO Ideas set, a number of companion characters have already appeared in two previously-released LEGO CMFs.

For starters, 2016’s 71012 The Disney Series featured the likes of Ariel and Stitch, both of whom would be a perfect match for the upcoming figures of Sebastian and Flounder and the Lilo minifigure in 21352 Magic of Disney.

Likewise, the Geppetto minifigure and brick-built Fantasia brooms included in the upcoming LEGO Ideas set should feel much more complete once you place them next to Pinocchio and Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey from last year’s 71038 Disney 100 CMF.

21352 Magic of Disney was listed as €109.99 in Greece, so we’re probably looking at international prices of around £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. The LEGO Ideas set is apparently due for release on October 1, but we’ll be able to confirm all of those details once full listings go live on the official online store.
