LEGO Ideas might get a lot more industrial in the future

An unexpectedly industrial set might be in LEGO Ideas' future as an undoubtedly impressive sawmill recreation is now in the third 2024 review.

It's been a busy day on LEGO Ideas between Woodland Wildlife this morning and a new Fortnite challenge during the day and it continues with Bob_Brickman's highly-detailed Sawmill build entering the third 2024 review. Over just a couple of months, the modern Sawmill recreation has garnered enough support to be considered for an official model in the future.

The Sawmill's details aren't just present on the outside with its wooden frame and pipe detailing running along the exterior. Inside, brick-built machinery and minifigures are working away to cut logs down for future use.

It's a surprisingly captivating model that might tempt us into desiring a whole line of industrial LEGO Ideas models. First though, it has to convince the team at LEGO Ideas and the LEGO Group to give it a chance as an official set.

For now, it joins the growing list of submissions in the third 2024 review with everything from Gravity Falls to much more natural models all proposed for the future of the theme.
