LEGO Ideas review adds ITALIA Poster and Makoto Markets

A trio of fan-designed submissions have hit the 10K mark in the first LEGO Ideas review of 2026 thanks to ITALIA – 3D Poster, Boombox Stereo and Makoto Markets.

There’s seemingly no stopping the first LEGO Ideas review of 2026 of late, with a steady stream of fan-created models drumming up 10K supporters each. That ever-growing list has now expanded once more, with three new builds having made the grade in the shape of ITALIA – 3D Poster, Boombox Stereo and Makoto Markets.

First up is ITALIA – 3D Poster, courtesy of 7.studs, with a LEGO Art-style take on the fan designer’s own country. Presented as a brick-built geographical map, the completed model shows orographic relief features and a seabed with a three-dimensional effect, along with a selection of four minifigures reflecting the history and culture of the region.

From GenericBrix comes a musical blast from the past with Boombox Stereo, a 1,118-piece set that recreates the popular portable audio tech from the ’70s and ’80s. The LEGO Ideas submission features turning dials, an ejecting slot for one of four different cassettes, an adjustable antenna and even its own sound brick for authentic tunes.

Finally, there’s Makoto Markets from ModularManiac, a unique LEGO building said to be found in the city of Bricksburg. Inside the model are various locations, such as Julie’s Treasures, a photo studio, Owen’s apartment, Chief Kenji’s Ramen Shop and Devin’s Townhouse, with multiple minifigure characters accompanying the creation.

The three latest LEGO Ideas 10K submissions will now have to play the waiting game though, with the results of the first review of 2026 not due to be revealed until later this year.
