LEGO Ideas surprises with second 10K Sailor Moon submission

Yet another Sailor Moon creation has joined the growing list of fan-made models currently sitting in the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025.

As the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025 continues to grow, so do the chances of some fan designs being based on the same licensed property or franchise. That’s certainly the case when it comes to a new model that’s managed to drum up 10k supporters, with teljesnegyzet’s Sailor Moon following in the fantasy footsteps of a previous submission, The Sailor Moon Star Luminous Rod.

Comprised of 2,416 pieces, Sailor Moon presents five brick-built figures spinning out of the 1992 anime series of the same name. Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus all have plenty of poseability, including articulated heads, arms and legs, along with their signature outfits.

The LEGO Ideas figures can be displayed on their own or as a full collection of Solar Guardians, all ready for the schoolgirls to defend the Silver Crystal and prevent the destruction of the solar system.

In addition, the Sailor Moon submission also includes a bonus build of Luna the talking cat who advises Sailor Moon, as well as a printed plaque of the show’s logo and a small version of the magical Star Luminous Rod.

Sailor Moon is the latest fan-created build to join the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025, with the results of which models will ultimately become physical LEGO sets at some point in the future to be revealed in early 2026.
