This LEGO Insiders reward is a charming way to spend your points, but it doesn’t feel like the most vital LEGO Pokémon set.
At the time of its launch, the big appeal to 40911 Mini Pokémon Center is the fact that it’s the only LEGO set based on a Pokémon building. As a small reward for those with enough Insiders points this is a pleasant set, but it’s hard to gauge how relevant this build will actually feel once the LEGO Pokémon theme has had a bit more time to mature.

Redeem at the Insiders Rewards Centre
LEGO Pokémon 40911 Mini Pokémon Center probably isn’t going to age well. The first three retail LEGO Pokémon sets to hit store shelves are brick-built recreations of popular Pokémon, while the gift-with-purchase 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection is meant to be a life-size (or thereabouts) item that a Pokémon trainer might own.
40911 Mini Pokémon Center, then, is at the time of writing the only LEGO Pokémon set that shows any kind of building from the world of Pokémon. And at microscale, this is hardly the biggest set in the world – nor is it meant to be. This set is to be made available (while stocks last) at the Insiders Rewards Centre in exchange for 2,500 LEGO Insiders points.
These points are earned from purchases on LEGO.com, by phone, or in official LEGO stores. This amount of points will typically require spending around £315 or $380 on LEGO, while 2,500 points could otherwise be exchanged for just over £15 towards your next purchase.

This is not meant to be the biggest, grandest LEGO set of all time. It’s a small, 233-piece build that won’t take more than around 20 minutes to put together. It has a few stickers to add that iconic Pokémon branding to the building, but beyond that, there’s not much to this set. Yet its charm and its position as a small piece of the Pokémon world in LEGO form means anyone who happens to have enough points to get hold of it (and who can beat the crowds to secure one before it sells out) will have fun with it.
Unfortunately, this set’s profile and desirability has been raised somewhat thanks to the decision by the LEGO Group to not release any minifigure-scale sets in this initial Pokémon wave. Fans have latched on to 40911 Mini Pokémon Center because, small as it is, it’s the only set of its kind, and herein there’s a potential for buyer’s remorse a little way down the line.

It's also worth remembering that while this set is the only Pokémon building in LEGO form, it’s unlikely that this will still be true in a year’s time. 40911 Mini Pokémon Center might be intensely desirable in early 2026, but there may well be better options available to LEGO and Pokémon fans before too long.
To that end, it’s probably not worth fretting over if you either don’t have enough points or if stock is exhausted too quickly. While there’s no guarantee at the time of writing, there will probably be other LEGO Pokémon Centers in future, and they might be better suited to your needs than a dinky little thing that's going to get lost on the shelf next to most other LEGO buildings.
If you are aiming to pick this one up, you'll be able to redeem it at the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre from February 27 (while stocks last) for 2,500 points.
Our honest opinion: 40911 Mini Pokémon Center is a cute little build that’s probably going to be forgotten about quickly once more sets in this theme are released.
