The upcoming 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler is packed with details, including these eight things we’ve spotted in the LEGO Jurassic World vehicle.
Seven all-new LEGO Jurassic World sets were revealed today, including a pair of 18+ builds aimed at adult fans of the dino movie franchise. Of those, 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler represents the first-ever large-scale version of the film vehicle to date and it’s one that’s packed with details.
With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at next month’s LEGO Jurassic World set and discover eight things that intrepid builders who pick up 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler will be able to discover.
1 – Canvas roof

Despite initial appearances, 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler is in fact a 4-in-1 set, with fans able to customise the car to resemble different film versions. Three of those options allow for the canvas roof to be completely removed, an all-new element that’s a tan colour on one side and black on the other.
2 – Working winch

At the front of the LEGO Jurassic World build is a working winch, with a hook and cable that can be reeled in and out using a knob on one side. That feature will allow fans to attach 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler to various items or replicate a specific scene from the first Steven Spielberg movie.
3 – Toolboxes

One display option requires builders to add a pair of boxes to the back of the car, both of which contain various items and Easter eggs. Those include tools for repairing the LEGO Jurassic World vehicle, a non-functional flashlight and a Velociraptor claw – a nod to the movie’s deadly hunters.
4 – Objects in the rear-view mirror…

Another iteration of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler replicates the scene in the first film where the T. rex chases Ellie Sattler’s car and can be spotted approaching in the side mirror. That same element has been recreated in the upcoming LEGO Jurassic World set, complete with a looming dino sticker in the mirror and closer than you think.
5 – Removable engine and grill

In a recent interview between Tiago Catarino and Senior Model Designer Henrik Rubin Saaby, it’s been revealed that not only can the bonnet of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler be opened up if required, but the whole engine and radiator grill can be removed for easy maintenance.
6 – Interior details

The interior of the LEGO Jurassic World model is packed with even more details and Easter eggs, which include a coffee cup to mimic the liquid ripples when the T. rex made its debut in the original dino movie, a Jurassic Park lanyard, new printed dashboard pieces, removable rear seats and more.
7 – Rear steering wheel

The front wheels of 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler can be repositioned using the spare wheel located on the back of the vehicle. Turning the tyre allows the wheels to be angled as desired, allowing the car to be moved in whichever direction you like.
8 – Dennis Nedry minifigure

This is the second version of the dodgy computer programmer released to date, one that comes with all-new face and torso prints, plus a recoloured yellow hood piece. In addition, the Dennis Nedry minifigure also features an alternate hair piece located behind the display stand’s printed information plaque, a new 4x8 plate that appears in both black and grey in the LEGO Jurassic World set.
77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler will be released on May 7, 2026 priced at £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99, with
