LEGO Pokémon fans can now customise two existing builds from the catch ’em all theme, thanks to a pair of unofficial sticker sheets.
Building instructions for 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection were recently added to LEGO.com, allowing fans who missed out on the highly-anticipated LEGO Pokémon GWP the option to assemble their own version. The only thing missing from those instructions though is the exclusive sticker sheet from the model, but now there is another option for obtaining your own alternative set.
Online retailer Friendly Neighborhood Crafts is offering up what it refers to as ‘Badge Collection’ stickers, essentially an unofficial way of completing 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection for less than purchasing the sold out build on the secondary market.
Priced at £6.99 / $10 / €8.95, the sticker sheet features similar assets required to complete a fan-made version of the LEGO Pokémon promotional set, alongside any specific pieces that will need to be purchased from LEGO's Pick a Brick service or BrickLink.
In addition, the retailer is also selling ‘Center Mart’ stickers for £2.99 / $5 / €3.95 that are intended for customising 40911 Mini Pokémon Center. The LEGO Insiders members reward is still available in the UK and Europe at the time of this writing, with the sticker sheet allowing Pokémon fans to make their models more closely match the look of the original video game buildings.
Both of Friendly Neighborhood Crafts’ sticker sheets use custom designed artwork, so won’t be an exact match for official versions, but do at least represent one way for fans to enhance their LEGO Pokémon creations.
