LEGO Luigi & Mach 8 is one part of a must-have Mario Kart display

See how LEGO Mario Kart 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 looks next to its most logical display partner ahead of its release.

If you don't already own 72037 Mario & Standard Kart, the reveal of 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 makes it all that much more enticing. The pair are clearly designed to display alongside one another, built to the same scale and depicting different karts from the iconic racing game.

Both feature posable heads, arms, and hands for flexibility in posing, while the stands can be angled to make the racing vehicles look as though they are drifting around corners while parked up on your display shelves. You can see what they look like in a display in a lifestyle image shared by the LEGO Group below.

What's more, Nintendo has also shared a video showing both sets going head-to-head, while also displaying some of 72050 Luigi & Mach 8's interactive features, like the spinning flame at the rear of the vehicle. It also underlines how the posability of both LEGO Mario Kart sets, particularly with the heads and hands, can be used to great advantage for poses where one kart is overtaking another.
