Upcoming issues of the LEGO Star Wars and Marvel magazines will continue their current trends of including cool but ultimately lower-value minifigures.
As reported by bricky_news over on Instagram, a future issue of the LEGO Star Wars magazine will include a Commando Droid from 75435 Battle of Felucia Separatist MTT, while the LEGO Marvel magazine will arrive with Anti-Venom attached to the front cover. The Spidey villain has so far appeared in two 2025 sets, 76308 Spider-Man Mech vs. Anti-Venom and
Those are both pretty good minifigures and the Commando Droid in particular is a neat one to army build, but given the cost of these magazines they’re not necessarily the most cost-effective way to go about it these days. They typically retail for around £5.99 apiece, but the new Commando Droid in pearl dark grey is available in bulk for as little as £2.24 per minifigure on BrickLink.
Anti-Venom, meanwhile, can also readily be procured for less than the cover price of the mag, although when you consider shipping and the convenience factor that one might be a little more appealing (especially if you don’t care for Marvel mechs). The current issue of the LEGO Star Wars magazine in the UK features a Night Trooper mounted to the front cover, which means the next one will likely include a Phase II Clone Pilot, and the one after that Anakin Skywalker from
As for Marvel, a tin with regular Hulk and Red Hulk minifigures is apparently on the way soon, with Anti-Venom presumably set to follow after that. We’ll let you know as soon as we see either of these magazines on shelves (or get confirmation of their arrival in the UK).
