The LEGO Group has officially revealed LEGO Mario Kart 72050 Luigi & Mach 8, a follow-up to 72037 Mario & Standard Kart.
72050 Luigi & Mach 8 has raced into view, following in the tyre tracks of last year's 72037 Mario & Standard Kart. Built to the same scale as its predecessor, 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 is made up of 2,234 pieces and is available to pre-order right now ahead of its launch on April 1, retailing for £159.99 in the UK, $179.99 in the US, and €179.99 in Europe. It's been revealed today in celebration of Mario Day on March 10 (Mar 10).
The display-focused model features a posable head, arms and hands, with the brick-built Luigi seated behind the wheel of the Mach 8 kart. The included buildable display stand can be adapted to tilt the vehicle at various angles, as if it were mid-drift. The working steering wheel makes the wheels turn for extra posability, while turning the back wheels will spin the flame exhaust.
LEGO Mario Kart 72050 Luigi & Mach 8 is available for pre-order from today for £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99 ahead of its general release on April 1.
