A third LEGO Marvel modular skyscraper can be yours thanks to a recent build and the creativity of the online LEGO community.
LEGO Marvel's new collection of mini modulars includes the towering 76324 Spider-Man vs. Oscorp, which is our first recreation of the Oscorp tower in LEGO Marvel. Though it's not the full modular skyscraper on par with 76178 Daily Bugle that fans were hoping for, it can be comparable with an additional budget. This presents the opportunity to feature three of Marvel's most iconic skyscrapers at the same scale in your collection, with 76269 Avengers Tower and 76178 Daily Bugle.
The community on Rebrickable have taken a month to experiment with both 76317 Peter Parker’s Apartment and 76324 Spider-Man vs. Oscorp, coming up with some custom creations that rival the official Marvel modular buildings. Mexwhite's tactic is to expand the footprint of 76324 Spider-Man vs. Oscorp and 76317 Peter Parker’s Apartment to add a full interior to the buildings, as well as to remove the facade nature of them. This build requires both sets and 1,514 additional pieces.
Brick Artisan's build is more approachable, requiring two copies of 76324 Spider-Man vs. Oscorp as well as 302 elements. This turns the Oscorp tower into a corner modular build with a smaller building on either side.
Kuragari1 has come up with two modular rebuilds of 76324 Spider-Man vs. Oscorp, one of which expands on the additional buildings in the set and the other turns the attention solely to Oscorp. Both models require a larger number of additional pieces, but they are comparable to the official Marvel modular buildings in terms of size and scale.
Any of these four custom creations will serve as a third Marvel modular skyscraper based on the official set, proving the potential of 76324 Spider-Man vs. Oscorp. Don't forget that 76178 Daily Bugle has been restocked, too, in what may be one of its last restocks before its upcoming retirement in December.
