LEGO Marvel now has two display-centric battle set collections, but despite their similarities, there are a few differences between them.
Next year's first LEGO Marvel models introduce the new Epic Battle range of sets, calling to mind the Final Battle series that has been ongoing in previous years, and we've spotted a few differences between them based on the two new sets –
From differences in the builds and average size to the timing of the movie scenes themselves, here's a closer analysis of the LEGO Marvel Final Battle and Epic Battle range.
Average size and price
While the range is still in its early days, starting from January 1, the LEGO Marvel Epic Battle Collection is, on average, much smaller and more affordable than the Final Battle models so far.

One outstanding difference between the Final Battle and Epic Battle sets is that the newer collection's creations include a nameplate titling the battle and naming the movie on which the set is based. The Epic Battle name strongly implies that this new collection is intended to cover battles from Marvel movies that aren't from the end of the film, and
In fact, this and the differences listed above suggest that the Epic Battle range is actually an evolution of the Final Battle collection, now expanded to cover more than just the last battle of the movie, while furthering the display value and expanding the price points. There are no Final Battle sets currently confirmed for 2026, but whether this is true remains to be seen.
