LEGO launches new Mini Builds hub with three new free models

The LEGO Group's Mini Builds have all been gathered in one place in a new hub, with three new additions joining the party.

Free LEGO Mini Builds have been around for a while, but now they've all been brought together into one place on the LEGO Kids website. That includes three new builds: the LEGOLAND Dragon, Thunderfang, and a spider. The new trio is pictured below.

The dragon is obviously tied to the LEGOLAND beast, while Thunderfang is a miniaturised version of the NINJAGO dragon, as seen in sets like 71832 Thunderfang Dragon of Chaos. The third is a simple spider build, complete with a LEGO spiderweb to rest on.

The instructions for Mini Builds are free to download. Some of the older builds have been past promotional sets at Make & Take events, while others are exclusive to the site. They tend to use fairly common parts that many LEGO builders will already have from past sets or as spares, but there are some that might require a trip to LEGO Pick a Brick to buy some individual parts.

That said, it won't ever set you back too much, considering the builds rarely exceed more than 100 pieces. Head over to the LEGO Mini Builds page to browse the three new additions and the back catalogue of other models.
