We’ve already whittled down our top 10 LEGO minifigures of 2025, but with 47 total nominations, there are plenty that didn’t make the cut. Here are our honourable mentions…
Each year the Brick Fanatics team puts heads together to decide on our collective top 10 LEGO sets and minifigures of the past 12 months, and in 2025 we popped Spider-Punk from 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at the top of our list. But with so many minifigures to choose from, there were inevitably loads that didn’t quite make the top 10.
So, here follows a bonus mention from most members of the Brick Fanatics team for our favourite LEGO minifigures of 2025. Let us know which tiny plastic people stood out to you most this year in the comments.
Chris – Serpent Knight

The LEGO Group debuted four brand new Castle factions in 2025 (though only one of them has a fortress to call home), and top of the list for me was the intimidating Serpent Knight. Black and yellow is a colour scheme I’ll always be on board with regardless of the context, but it’s deployed in an understated way here that makes for a compelling and intriguing minifigure.
The Serpent Knight drills down into what made the very best original LEGO Castle factions so special – think the Wolfpack and Forestmen – which is storytelling through iconography alone. There’s little to no lore around on these guys yet, just as there wasn’t for those factions in the ‘80s and ‘90s, but one look is all you need to conjure up your own backstory (and subsequent castles) for the sharp-dressed knights. It’s just a shame there’s only one in 31168 Medieval Horse Knight Castle…
Rachael – Edward Cullen

As a teenager, I was Team Jacob, but when it comes to minifigures, I just love the commitment to the sparkly vampire bit that resulted in LEGO Edward Cullen in 21354 Twilight The Cullen House.
The speckled effect is as close as a minifigure can get to the unique way that Twilight vampires glimmer in the sunlight, just one of many ways that the LEGO Ideas set caters to popular fan moments. Paired with the quirky golden eyes, it's a fun use of creativity to bring a tricky visual to life in LEGO form.
Matt – Dreamsmasher

Heroes are really only ever as good as their villains, but Dreamsmasher definitely rose to the challenge this year. Included as one of five minifigures in 71500 Nightmare Shark Submarine, the mysterious so-called ‘superhero’ was ultimately revealed to be anything but, eventually becoming the main nemesis in Season 3 of the animated series.
Despite many expecting the demise of LEGO DREAMZzz in 2025, Dreamsmasher demonstrated why there still continues to be plenty of creative life in the homegrown theme, thanks to an impressive, digitised skull design on his helmet, printed torso and legs, plus a dayglo cape that managed to make this character a must-have minifigure.
Jack – Jetpack Racer

LEGO Minifigures Series 27 is packed with great characters deserving of an honourable mention, but something about the Jetpack Racer is hard to ignore. The LEGO Group’s forays into science fiction usually lean into retro aesthetics, while Jetpack Racer reminds us of other science fiction subgenres.
With his flashy outfit, complete with a fanged helmet design and company logos over the outfit as if he were a race car, the Jetpack Racer would be right at home in a cyberpunk scene or those of many other space subgenres. The high level of detail, down to the wrap-around printing on their legs, also helps in selling this unique space minifigure.
Rob – Teal Classic Space astronaut

Another of the standout minifigures that didn’t make our Top 10 for 2025 but remains noteworthy is also a pretty familiar-looking character – the Classic Space astronaut in teal, which appears twice over in LEGO Ideas 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine.
We’ve had a fair few Classic Space minifigures but there’s something about this teal version that really strengthens a minimalistic design that goes back to the very earliest minifigures the LEGO Group ever produced. An iconic design in a strong, vivid colour like this makes for one of the best minifigures of the year.
