LEGO modular buildings are getting too expensive

While LEGO Icons 11371 Shopping Street has a fascinating backstory, the modular building collection simply feels too expensive in 2026.

Brick Fanatics' own Matthew got to not only explore the 2026 modular building, 11371 Shopping Street, in person during LEGO Fan Media Days, but also hear from the set's designer, Dang Hoàng, about what went into the collection's most geometrically challenging set yet.

While hearing from Dang is enough to make you fall in love with the set simply for the passion and skill that went into it, when the dust settled Matthew had a few reservations – largely around price.

LEGO Icons 11371 Shopping Street will launch on January 1, 2026 for a slightly higher price than previous years, retailing at £229.99 / $249.99 / €249.99.
