LEGO signs new licensing agreement with Paladone

A new licensing agreement between the LEGO Group and homeware company Paladone has been announced, after a lengthy process.

Paladone has joined the roster of licensing partners under the LEGO Group's umbrella, with products planned for sale starting in 2026. Paladone creates decorative and practical products based on key characters from various companies, including a Spider-Man lamp, Minecraft pencil pots, Harry Potter board games, and more. What they have planned for the LEGO Group has yet to be announced.

“We’re beyond excited to be building something amazing with the LEGO Group, one of the world’s most loved and iconic brands,” said Jim Downey, chief executive officer of Paladone. “This partnership lets us click our award-winning design and global reach together with the LEGO Group’s incredible brand power, and we can’t wait to create fun, innovative products that fans of all ages will love.”

The likes of minifigure-inspired homeware and upscaled LEGO elements seem likely for this collaboration.  Securing the licence is stated to have been a rigorous and lengthy process.

Celine Lu, the head of Global Vendor Compliance & Sustainability at Paladone, commented, “It highlights the strength of our supplier partnerships and robust systems, giving The LEGO Group confidence in our capability to deliver responsibly. Together, these outcomes lay the foundation for a strong, long-term partnership built on shared values.”

Paladone will be the latest homeware designer in a partnership with the LEGO Group, starting next year. It follows the likes of Santoki, which recently announced a stylish and customisable LEGO wall clock.

“We’re really proud to be partnering with the LEGO Group on a global scale,” said Barbara Echevarria, Senior VP of Global Licensing, Marketing and Product at Paladone. “This collaboration allows us to pair the LEGO Group’s timeless creativity with Paladone’s unique design perspective. From day one, the partnership has been smooth and collaborative, and we’re truly grateful for the support and shared vision that’s guided us along the way.”

Stay tuned for more information on the LEGO Paladone products, which are currently in development and will go on sale starting next year.
