One of two promotional LEGO Pokémon sets is finally starting to sell out at the Insiders Rewards Centre, having long since surpassed expectations around its availability.
Most of us assumed that stock of 40911 Mini Pokémon Center – which launched on February 27 alongside the first wave of retail LEGO Pokémon sets – would be snapped up on day one, if not hour one, as a limited-edition reward available only to those with 2,500 Insiders points. Instead, it’s defied naysayers by hanging around into March… but is now starting to slip away in some regions.

In the US and Canada, 40911 Mini Pokémon Center is showing as ‘out of stock’ in the Insiders Rewards Centre and is no longer available to redeem. There’s a small chance it could come back one day – never say never – but in all likelihood the 233-piece set is gone for good in North America. And it’s already exchanging hands for astronomical sums on the secondary market, with several selling for around $140 each on eBay.
At the time of writing, 40911 Mini Pokémon Center is still available for 2,500 points (worth just over £15 when used for a discount at LEGO.com) in the UK and Europe, though has yet to show up at all in Australia following reported shipping delays. Even still, it’s currently selling for north of £50 on eBay in the UK, presumably to those who don’t have enough Insiders points to redeem it for themselves.
Expect those prices to jump even further when 40911 Mini Pokémon Center inevitably sells out in other territories, so if you’ve got your eye on it don’t delay: head over to the Insiders Rewards Centre and claim yours while the going’s good. Upon redemption you’ll receive a code that must be added to a LEGO.com order within 60 days.
LEGO Pokémon stock updates: March 2
LEGO Pokémon’s other promo set, 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection, is still available in the UK, US and Europe, free exclusively with 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. That 6,838-piece set is currently on back order in all three regions, however: until March 19 in Europe, until April 8 in the UK, and by 60 days in the US. Stateside fans will also have to wait until April 9 for 72151 Eevee.

In Australia, the trio of Kanto starters are still temporarily out of stock and the badge collection gift-with-purchase has disappeared from the site completely, suggesting that’s sold out too. The other two LEGO Pokémon sets – including 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball – are available to order with immediate delivery.
