Here’s how you can get your hands on a new stealth line of LEGO plushie collectibles making their debut in 71048 Series 27 and other January 1 sets.
The next LEGO CMF will be dropping on January 1, bringing with it yet another eclectic mix of 12 unique minifigure characters. 71048 Series 27 includes the likes of a Steampunk Inventor, Longboarder, Jetpack Racer, Astronomer Kid, Cat Lover and Wolfpack Beastmaster.
In addition to even more highly-desirable minifigures to hunt down, the LEGO CMF also boasts a number of interesting new pieces, including two elements that may well be part of a series of sneaky stealth collectibles for 2025.

Alongside 11 other characters in 71048 Series 27 is the Plush Toy Collector, a cheery pink-haired girl who comes with a pair of plushie accessories. One of the cute animals is blue and the other green and both feature distinctive printed faces and fronts.
Clearly inspired by the likes of similar cuddly collectible creatures such as Squishmallows (yet legally distinct enough), the LEGO CMF plushies aren’t limited to just 71048 Series 27. Three more different critters can be found in a number of January 1 sets (taking the total up to five), which might possibly suggest a whole wave of the tiny toys could be on the way in 2025.
71048 Series 27

Despite the LEGO elements not being squishy in the slightest, the two plushies in 71048 Series 27 certainly tick the cuteness box. With one being a blue puppy and the other a green bird, collectors may have to decide which one is their favourite, but the fact that they’re not identical does seem to add fuel to the fire for more potential entries in the stealth collectible series this year.

While there’s currently no confirmation of any more LEGO sets on the way in 2025 that might include additional plushies, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled just in case the little critters do in fact pop up elsewhere next year.
