LEGO SMART Play will launch in only six countries

Pre-orders for the first LEGO SMART Play sets are live, and it is confirmed that the platform will only be available in six countries at launch.

LEGO SMART Play will debut on March 1, 2026, through three LEGO Star Wars models, dubbed 'All-in-One' sets. Now that pre-orders are live, we know that SMART Play will only be available in six countries at launch.

Those countries include the US, UK, France, Germany, Poland and Australia. Anyone outside these regions will need to wait for SMART Play to launch locally or look for solutions on the secondary marketplace. The LEGO Group states that its teams are working hard to get SMART Play to fans across the world, but that the platform will only be available in select markets on March 1.

Reasons for the limited launch are stated to include the complexities of launching the new platform in a company-wide initiative that covers their entire value chain, from research and development to manufacturing and retail.

The three LEGO Star Wars sets debuting SMART Play on March 1 include 75421 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, 75423 Luke’s Red Five X-wing, and 75427 Throne Room Duel & A-wing. They will be released in the US, UK, France, Germany, Poland and Australia only on that date. When they will launch across the rest of the world alongside SMART Play has yet to be confirmed.

Those models are all available to pre-order now, and you can find out more about SMART Play by clicking here.
