LEGO Speed Champions rumoured to be revisiting Jaguar at maybe the worst possible time

A LEGO Speed Champions Jaguar two-pack is rumoured to be on the way this summer, coming at what might be the worst possible time for the historic car manufacturer.

Jaguar is currently in a controversial ‘interim period’ while transitioning to a fully electric portfolio, having ceased production of almost all its internal combustion engine cars at the end of 2024. Jaguar sales subsequently plummeted by 97.5% in 2025, and with the final F-Pace rolling off the production lines on December 19 last year, the British manufacturer currently has no new cars for sale.

And yet… LEGO Speed Champions has apparently chosen this moment to revisit the brand for the first time since 2020’s 76898 Formula E Panasonic Jaguar Racing GEN2 Car & Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY. Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat reports in a new Story that 77264 Jaguar 2 Pack will debut in August, with 740 pieces in the box for $54.99 / €54.99.

That product number was previously hooked to a Mercedes two-pack, and it’s not clear if that set is still on the way under a different SKU or if the original rumour was false. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see which Jaguars might make up the newly-rumoured set, and whether the LEGO Speed Champions team has had access to development materials for Jaguar’s electric 2026 line-up.

Because if that is the case, maybe this is actually the best possible time for a new LEGO Speed Champions Jaguar set, debuting alongside the brand's real-world relaunch that's currently on the cards for later this year. But that's assuming its electric grand tourer isn't delayed again...

In that case, a wiser direction for this set may be at least one historic Jaguar (such as the E-Type), but let us know which models you’d like to see join the Speed Champions garage in the comments. Bear in mind that the manufacturer’s return to the portfolio is still only a rumour for now and should be taken lightly.
